Sioux City, Iowa – State Representative Chris Hall of Sioux City was endorsed by the Sioux City Professional Firefighters and Sioux City Police Officers Association for demonstrating outstanding commitment to public safety.
"The Sioux City Police Officers Association endorses Rep. Hall because of his strong record on public safety and his commitment to improving our community,” said Officer Zach Lewis, Past President, Sioux City Police Officers Association.
This year, the Legislature took great strides in improving the lives of our public servants by creating a $50 personal income tax credit for volunteer firefighters and emergency medical services personnel. The legislature also approved a new tuition assistance grant program for children of those who were killed in the line of duty and cracked down on K2, spice and other synthetic drugs..
"The Sioux City Professional Firefighters are proud to endorse Chris Hall in this year because of his dedication to improving the lives of Sioux City firefighters and their families,” said Dan Cougill, President, Sioux City Professional Firefighters.
